Do You Behave Like the Wise Virgins?
Are you yearning for the Lord’s return? If yes, then you must hope to be a wise virgin to welcome the Lord soon. But do you know what a wise virgin is? Are you behaving like a wise virgin?
The Lord Jesus once said, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6).“These are they which follow the Lamb wherever he goes” (Revelation 14:4).
These several scriptures tell us the primary aspects of being a wise virgin, which are really important to us:
1. Actively seeking and investigating when hearing someone preaching the Lord has returned.
2. Paying attention to listening to the words of the Lord returned.
3. Accepting God’s voice once hearing it so as to follow God’s footsteps.
Just as God’s words say, “All who are able to obey the present utterances of the Holy Spirit are blessed. It does not matter how they used to be, or how the Holy Spirit used to work within them — those who have gained the latest work of God are the most blessed, and those who are unable to follow the latest work today are eliminated. God wants those who are able to accept the new light, and He wants those who accept and know His latest work. Why is it said that you must be a chaste virgin? A chaste virgin is able to seek the work of the Holy Spirit and understand the new things, and moreover, able to put aside old notions, and obey the work of God today. This group of people, who accept the newest work of today, were predestined by God before the ages, and are the most blessed of people. You hear the voice of God directly, and behold the appearance of God, and so, throughout heaven and earth, and throughout the ages, none have been more blessed than you, this group of people.”
Now, many people are testifying that the Lord has long since returned, who has expressed the truth to do the work of purifying and saving man and revealed all mysteries of God’s management plan. When hearing the news, those who thirsted for God’s appearance actively sought and investigated God’s work and words in the last days. They have found the truth from the words of the Lord returned and recognized God’s voice. They are sure that the Lord has already returned and have accepted God’s work of the last days and followed God’s footprints. They are the wise virgins who have heard God’s voice and received the Lord, and are feasting with the Lord.
