What Does It Mean to Gain God’s Salvation?

--

Speaking of the word “salvation”, we believe that none of us believers in the Lord is a stranger to it. There are several verses in the Bible that mention “salvation”. For example, Moses said to the people: “Fear you not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day” (Ex 14:13). And it is said in the New Testament, “That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved” (Romans 10:9). It can be seen that when Jehovah God led the Israelites out of Egypt and rid them of the Pharaoh’s shackles, the Israelites had already attained God’s salvation; in the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus was crucified for mankind and bore the sin of man; our sin is forgiven as long as we believe in the Lord Jesus, which means obtaining God’s salvation.

Let us look at 1 Peter 1:5: “Who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” What does the phrase “salvation ready to be revealed in the last time” refer to? What is the difference between God’s salvation in these three times? How can we get God’s end-time salvation?
