To Welcome the Lord’s Return, We Should Avoid Making Thomas’ Mistake
Thomas, one of the Lord’s disciples, followed the Lord, yet he did not believe the fact of the Lord Jesus’ resurrection until he saw the nail marks on His hands. The Lord Jesus said to him, “because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” (John 20:29). Obviously, his faith was not approved by God.
Now we are already in the last days. Many people are looking forward to the Lord’s coming and being raptured into the kingdom of heaven. However, when hearing someone testify that the Lord has returned, some people don’t believe it unless they see the Lord descending on a white cloud from heaven. Is this committing the same mistake as Thomas? Do you know what the consequences will be? How should we learn lessons from Thomas so as to welcome the Lord?
