You Haven’t Welcomed the Lord, but It Doesn’t Mean That the Lord Hasn’t Returned

--

Friends, seeing the frequent occurrence of disasters such as famines, locust plagues, and floods, have you realized that the prophecies of the Lord’s coming have largely been fulfilled? Then have you welcomed the Lord? Maybe you would say that you haven’t seen the Lord come on a cloud, and you perhaps believe that the Lord will come during the disasters or after the disasters. In fact, the Lord has come secretly before the disasters, expressing millions of words, and doing the work of judgment starting from the house of God. However, after hearing that the Lord has become flesh and come in secret, some people not only do not seek or investigate, but instead hold to their own notion, thinking: “I do not believe or accept this saying, and I think the Lord has not come back because I have not seen Him come with my own eyes.” Can we welcome the Lord with this attitude? Is whether or not the Lord has come based on whether we recognize His return?

Thinking back to two thousand years ago, when the Lord Jesus appeared to work, the entire Judaism did not recognize that the Lord Jesus was the coming Messiah. But does that prove that the Messiah did not come? Although they all denied and condemned the Lord Jesus, the Lord Jesus still completed the work of redeeming mankind. Two thousand years later, the gospel of the Lord Jesus has spread to the ends of the universe, and the churches of Jesus Christ have been established in all countries. Therefore, what God wants to accomplish is not altered by man’s will, and is not determined by whether it’s acknowledged by man. If we adhere to our own notions and imaginations and do not humbly seek God’s work, we will repeat the same mistake of the Israelites.

God says, “The work of God surges onward like a mighty wave. No one can detain Him, and no one can halt His march. Only those who listen carefully to His words, and who seek and thirst for Him, can follow His footsteps and receive His promise. Those who do not shall be subjected to overwhelming disaster and well-deserved punishment.”
