God Has Returned in an Unexpected Way: Do You Know How to Recognize Him?
Did you know? As for the return of the Lord’s return, besides the prophecies of coming upon clouds, there are also prophecies of becoming flesh as the Son of man and coming secretly. For instance, “Behold, I come as a thief” (Revelation 16:15). “Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes” (Mat 24:44). “As a thief” is definitely not referring to coming upon clouds for all people to see, but referring to coming secretly so that only a few people can see Him. The “Son of man” in these prophecies refers to someone who is born of a human. He appears ordinary and normal on the outside, but He can express the truth to save man. Now we can conclude that God would become flesh and descend among man to save us, just like the Lord Jesus did. So when the Lord becomes flesh again as the Son of man to descend secretly in the last days, how can we recognize Him?
Almighty God says, “It is not difficult to inquire into such a thing, but it requires each of us to know this one truth: He who is God incarnate shall possess the essence of God, and He who is God incarnate shall possess the expression of God. Since God becomes flesh, He shall bring forth the work He intends to do, and since God becomes flesh, He shall express what He is, and shall be able to bring the truth to man, bestow life upon him, and point the way for him. Flesh that does not have the essence of God is decidedly not the incarnate God; of this there is no doubt. If man intends to inquire into whether it is God’s incarnate flesh, then he must corroborate this from the disposition He expresses and the words He speaks. Which is to say, to corroborate whether or not it is God’s incarnate flesh, and whether or not it is the true way, one must discriminate on the basis of His essence. And so, in determining whether it is the flesh of God incarnate, the key lies in His essence (His work, His utterances, His disposition, and many other aspects), rather than external appearance.”
From God’s words, we can understand that we can’t look at Christ’s appearance or family background to recognize God incarnate, but we have to investigate His work and words. Because God incarnate surely has the essence of God’s divinity, is able to express the truth and does the work of God Himself. Accordingly, in order to recognize the incarnate Son of man in the last days, we only need to see whether He can express the truth and do the work of God Himself, then we will determine whether He is God Himself.
Now the Lord has already returned in the flesh. He has expressed all the truth to save man and has done the work of judgment and purification in the last days, so that we will be saved completely from sins and brought into God’s kingdom.
